While soccer players were busy winning league titles, triathletes were racing around Webb, and the yearbook staff was designing El Espejo, some students spent their winter in Thornton Laboratory where they participated in the inaugural year of Webb’s newest afternoon activity: Science Fair Research Lab. This new addition to the afternoon activity program allowed students who are interested in science time and space to work on their own independent projects. Students of all grades were welcomed. Dr. Nicole Windmon, science faculty member, led the group of students and gave them guidance and mentorship as they progressed through their projects.
